Quixotical Luddite

    Quixotical Luddite

Quixotical Luddite picks a fight,
Tilting at windmills in the night.
Crazy man dreams terrible delight,
Sane in for the longest of frights.

Spoon fed news without inspection,
Another's agenda in forced rations.
News cycles blare like movie Brazil,
Feeding our lust for continuous thrill.

Brains boiled quickly to mush,
Awaiting dissenting opinion to crush.
Cash is king in perverting the truth,
Brazenly parading all that's uncouth.

About the Author:  Brian Bucks lives on a small horse ranch in Western Nebraska and is a husband, father, electrical engineer, and poet.
