Purity

Spring Snow Today
Lilac Blossoms Today

Purity

snow falls
white velcro
sticky clean
purity’s stickiness

landing on all
everyone, everything belongs
adorned in innocence
wedding day white

spring’s blossoms didn’t ask
yet cleanly coated
beauty to gaze upon
eyes drawn to heavy limbs
weighed with purity

walk among the sacred
allow self to be glazed
purity invites participation
engage in the joy and anticipation
