Our son's graduation from junior college in a few weeks has me musing about life's many graduations.
Graduation Days
Occasionally with cap and gown.
Most often just invisible crown.
Life is an education we all know.
Wrestling moments seem terribly slow.
Seasons transition.
Requires different position.
Endings happen sooner than think.
At new beginnings brink.
Some graduations accompanied with a diploma.
All accompanied by struggle.
The first breath and last breath.
Cycle of life and death.
Shedding of skin.
Shifting residence of eternity with grimace or grin.
Intentional and awake is our choice.
Steward your life and voice.
