Silence

                          Silence

Gray light in quietness of morning,
Walking in the hay field,
Stillness wraps around us.

Swallowed in the womb of silence,
Softness of nature's serenade,
Resting land awakens.

Grogginess sluffs off,
Vibrant colors come alive,
Revives the soul.
