Orion Greets Me

Orion Greets Me

            -i-
Orion greets me
In the early morn
Step out the door
In the Southern sky

           -ii-
Orion greets me
One week left
Before he's asleep
When I step outside

          -iii-
Orion greets me
Hunting far above
Immense space between
Reminded of smallness

Sullen Clouds

           Sullen Clouds

Grayish blue clouds linger,
Sullenly hang beyond reach.
Occasionally spitting contempt,
Foul mood disseminated on the land.

Land waits for change,
Calm before the storm.
Deep breath in,
Before the plunge.

Into the Sky

Into the Sky

Into the sky,
Away she flies.
Friendship cries,
Beckons her high.

Frothy seas,
Hair brunette in breeze.
Burden free,
No more to grieve.

Feet in the sand,
At edge of land.
Waters edge I stand,
his overwhelming love so grand.
