Quietly
quietly they rest among
tall grass and cedar trees
blend in with cover
browns of Autumn aligned
small herd of deer
a young buck
several does all fixed
on my every movement
stop long enough
to enjoy peacefulness
reminds me to breathe
gratefulness of new day's surprise
