Tumbleweed Sprint

            Tumbleweed Sprint

Harsh clouds race low on horizon

Grey look of snow

Longing for sun to break through

Grit fills the air

Wind surges pelting windows

Small debris peppers exposed skin

Brown corn stubble catches on fences

Tumbleweeds sprint across the fields
