Corn Stubble in
Winter
Pair of deer
Move slowly
On far edge of field
Foraging in corn
stubble
Stiff wind reminds
To keep moving
Out into the pasture
land
They fade into the
brown tall grass
Now a dozen geese
In the stubble graze
What's left behind
brings life
As they glean upon
the field
