What was spurned,
Completely burned,
Ashes remain.
Fire purged a path,
Sooty wrath,
Ashes remain.
Foundation cracked,
Heat broke its back,
Ashes remain.
Scar removed,
Cleared a view,
Ashes remain.
Confess the sin,
New life begins,
Ashes Remain.
