Serenity

Serenity

Softness rest quietly
A few days before Winter
Silence soaks the dawn
Seasons change

White tail glide
Quietly through
Brown grass
Float ghost like

As enjoy the morning
Knowing what I see
Would light father-in-law up
In serenity shared

Memories of father-in-law
Who slipped silently
Into eternity
