Pushing Pebbles

Pushing Pebbles

Memories surge pushing each pebble.
Polished and smooth in wash of life.
Past, present, future caught in current of time.
Sharp edges of past worn.
No cut to "it" anymore.
Congruence of beginning, middle, end.
Past resides in the past.
Previous chapter of story complete.
Consequences impact the present.
New beginnings are possible today.
Story's plot changes radically starting today.

About the Author:  Brian Bucks lives on a small horse ranch in Western Nebraska and is a husband, father, electrical engineer, and poet.
